There is a particular kind of disorientation many women are feeling right now.

Literary fiction of genuine depth — Mae's story for that month, unfolding in real time with the season. This is not content, but moreso, literature. Each chapter carries the month's teaching inside it, encoded in story; the way the oldest sacred knowledge has always travelled — in the body of a narrative, in a specific woman's life.

A Story You Don't Just Read
At the centre of this experience is Mae.
Forty-seven years old. English teacher. Harrowfield, New South Wales, at the foot of the Blue Mountains. A good husband, a teenage son, a four-year-old daughter who monitors a lizard named Wombenfrod under the oregano pot with the seriousness of important fieldwork.
Mae has a life. A full one. And she wakes before her alarm every morning with a question she doesn't yet have words for.
Her sister Brigid is forty-two, recently settled in County Clare on the west coast of Ireland, studying Druidry at the edge of the Atlantic. Brigid sends moon reports from across the ocean. She visits ancestral graves. She finds things in parish records that change what both sisters thought they knew.
They Facetime under each full moon — nine hours apart, the same light on two different skies. Mae names the moon from the Australian autumn. Brigid names it from the Irish spring. Both names are real. Both are true.

The Deeper Purpose
This work is not about elevating one side.
It is about restoring balance.
The masculine, as it currently stands, was shaped in the absence of the feminine. The defensive, performative, frightened masculinity that the manosphere offers young men is not what men actually are — it is what happens when the sacred masculine (the witnessing, the rooted, the protective, the tender) is suppressed alongside the sacred feminine, and the only model left is domination.
The feminine, as inherited, was shaped through suppression. A feminism that defines itself primarily through opposition to the masculine — that reaches for domination as the correction for domination — is not restoring the sovereign goddess tradition. The sovereignty goddesses of the oldest Celtic tradition never needed to diminish the masculine to be sovereign. Their authority was not contingent on anyone else's diminishment.
The course names both distortions honestly. And it offers something different from either: the documented, evidenced, historically grounded case for what a restored balance might actually look like — and the twelve-month initiatory practice of beginning to live it.
Neither is whole without the other. And without that wholeness — homes fracture, relationships strain, communities lose coherence, and the space ‘between’ becomes a battlefield rather than a sacred union. This is where restoration begins.

Questions You Might Be Holding
I live in the southern hemisphere and the moon names and seasons don't match my experience. Will this course work for me?
Not only will it work for you — it was built with you in mind. Mae, the protagonist at the heart of this course, lives in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. She is not experiencing the Flower Moon of a northern May. She is sitting in an Australian autumn garden, watching the light turn amber and low. She names her moon from what she can actually see and smell and feel. Each module carries both hemisphere moon names — the southern name and the northern name. Neither is more correct. Both are acts of paying attention to what the moon is doing from where you stand.
Why is an Australian woman encountering Celtic and Northern Hemisphere goddesses?
Three reasons, all true simultaneously. The first is inheritance: Mae's DNA is predominantly Irish, and ancestral memory moves through the body. The second is diaspora: these figures arrived in Australia with the settlers and have been embedded in the culture Mae grew up in — in the festivals she observed, the words she speaks, the holidays she marks without knowing their origins. The third is the archetype: these figures are not the exclusive property of the cultures that first named them. They are patterns in the deep structure of human consciousness that appear across cultures because they arise from the shared experience of being human. These figures are looking for the resonance in your body, not the coordinates on a map.
Do I need to share this with someone else to get value from it?
Absolutely not. The option to share is an invitation, not a requirement. Many women will walk this path privately, and the course is designed to hold that fully. If sharing feels right, the Sister Prompt is there. If it doesn't, your Initiate's Companion holds everything.
I don't have a meditation practice. Is that okay?
Mae didn't either when she started. The meditations are fully guided and accessible at any level of experience. You do not need prior practice. What you need is fifteen quiet minutes and a willingness to sit with what arrives.
What is the Narrative Therapy framework referred to in the course?
Narrative therapy is a clinical approach that understands human experience as shaped by the stories we inhabit. The course applies this framework progressively across twelve months — beginning with externalisation (the problem is not the person — the suppression of the feminine is an external historical structure you inherited, not a personal failing) and building through re-authoring, witnessing, and the definitional ceremony of the live moon circles. By Module 12 you will have a written account of your own counter-narrative — the story you have been building across the year. Mae's prayer is the model. You write your own.
Is this course anti-Christian or anti-religion?
No. This course is pro-truth. It looks honestly at what the historical and religious record actually contains — including the feminine that was removed from it — and asks what becomes possible when we tell the story more completely. It brings conscious men alongside rather than casting them as villains. It is, at its heart, a love story for the full human record.
Why do you use 12 moons if there are actually 13 lunar cycles in a year?
This is a question that sits at the heart of how She Spoke The World is structured.
Astronomically speaking, a solar year contains approximately 365.24 days, while a synodic lunar cycle (from new moon to new moon) is about 29.53 days. When you divide the two, you arrive at roughly 12.37 lunar cycles per year (365.24 ÷ 29.53 = 12.37).
This means a single year does not neatly contain either 12 or 13 complete lunar cycles. Instead, the reality is more fluid:
Most calendar years contain 12 new moons
Some years contain 13 new moons
Over a 19-year period (known as the Metonic Cycle), this pattern stabilises, typically including 7 years with 13 lunar months and 12 years with 12 lunar months
In other words, both ‘12 moons’ and ‘13 moons’ are true depending on how you observe and measure time. The lunar and solar calendars do not perfectly align, which is why cultures throughout history have developed different ways of holding this tension; sometimes through leap months, sometimes through symbolic systems, and sometimes through mythic structure.
She Spoke The World is not a course in astronomical measurement, but in narrative, symbol, and cultural meaning.
The decision to structure the journey around 12 moons is intentional. Twelve appears again and again across human traditions as a way of organising wholeness and cyclical understanding: the 12 months of the year, 12 zodiac signs, 12 archetypal divisions of story and myth, and countless cosmological systems that use twelve as a framework for completion, order, and integration.
In this sense, 12 is used here not as a statement about the sky, but as a symbolic and narrative architecture for a year-long journey—a way of mirroring the lived experience of seasonal time.
The course explores the space between lived cycles and symbolic meaning: between lunar rhythm and solar structure, between nature and story, between observation and interpretation.
It is the liminality of this space that She Spoke The World is devoted to.

The price point on this extensive course seems … cheap? Is it really all it’s cracked up to be? (This was a real question we answered in email btw!)
Truth be told, it is incredibly cheap right now. Tamara knows this, and there's a good reason for it: she's releasing the course month by month, building it as she goes. That means she's currently head-down in "creative mode," or as she likes to call it, "receiving guidance" mode. Once the course is complete, the price will rise to ten times what it is today. The benefit of joining this inaugural run is that every founding participant will be invited to live online circle gatherings starting next year, the same gatherings future full-price members will pay for separately. It's Tamara's way of thanking the early pioneers who trusted her, and the integrity of the course, enough to say "yes."

About the Course Creator
She Spoke The World is created and facilitated by Tamara, whose work sits at the intersection of psychology, narrative, and symbolic meaning-making.
Tamara holds a degree in Behavioural Sciences and has worked as a clinical psychotherapist drawing on Jungian, ACT, DBT, CBT, play therapy, art therapy, and systemic therapeutic approaches. Her professional background is grounded in the study of how people change—emotionally, cognitively, relationally, developmentally, and perhaps most importantly, spiritually —and how that meaning is constructed through story.
Alongside her clinical work, she is an author of children’s books focused on mindfulness, and a creative writer whose work has been published in magazines and developed for tourism bodies. Storytelling has remained a consistent thread throughout her personal and professional life—not as ornamentation, but as a primary way of translating experience into understanding.
Her ongoing study has long extended beyond conventional frameworks into mythological, mystical, and earth-based traditions, including formal correspondence study with OBOD (the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids). She has also engaged in direct experiential practices that explore altered states of consciousness and perception, which have deeply shaped her understanding of imagination, intuition, and inner imagery as forms of intelligence.
Tamara’s lineage is both cultural and lived: shaped by Irish ancestral threads, Indigenous familial roots on her mother’s side, and the experience of being a woman navigating the complexities of contemporary life while seeking coherence, meaning, and depth.
She is a mother, a wife, and, above all, a lifelong student of what it means to be human in relationship with story, psyche, and the natural world.

A note on scholarly honesty: Where historical evidence is solid, I'll tell you. Where scholars debate, I'll tell you that too. The land on which Mae's story is told — the Blue Mountains of New South Wales — is Gundungurra and Wiradjuri country. It was never ceded. The spiritual knowledge of those nations is not mine to interpret. What I can do is acknowledge it, and stand on it honestly.
